The brief for this project was to recreate a book cover design for Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go, as well as typesetting the first three pages of the novel. A key theme of nostalgia is abstractly represented by an overgrown cassette tape, with the shadow included to represent darker themes later in the novel. This book cover is deliberately detatched from the main plot to prevent readers from guessing the outcome of the novel.
